Podcast Tune-Up Launches Smart Media Training Events

Podcast Tune-Up launches Smart Media 2009 training events to better educate PR agencies, marketing professionals, and independent producers on new media development best-practices and the tools to make creative efforts successful. Participants will learn to properly use a microphone, light video, use Twitter and FaceBook, and optimize podcast descriptive metadata - all in an effort to create new opportunities to effectively communicate with customers. Every session is a hands-on learning experience not experienced at other workshops, expo’s, or training events. This is a must attend event for any Utah business which desires to compete in the new networked economy!

In episode 007 of The Podgineer, Chad Clark covered some unique production value found in the Passage to Peace podcast. Chad specifically mentions that this group of creative types embedded artwork into their video clips and how important that can be to presentation in iTunes. This is in response to that comment to ensure podcasters know how to do it.

The process of integrating a cover art into video is quite easy. In fact, it’s the same process one would use to embed podcover artwork into an audio file, which by the way, should always be done. Why more people do not embed podcover artwork into their media is beyond me since I believe it is so critical. Maybe it’s just not seen as important? Maybe it’s because nobody has taken the time to show how simple the process is? Whatever the reason, the following step-by-step process will allow you to embed the proper artwork into a video or audio file.
