He has over 15 years’ of practical experience working, researching, and teaching in the Digital Media industry. Michael presently is an Associate Professor in the Digital Media Department at Utah Valley University and feels that being a geek is OK. He has recently authored “Podcast Tune-Up's Guide to Podcast Experiences” an exclusive guide to begin the transition from podcaster to podcast engineer.

Mike is the Managing Director and resident audiophile of Podcast Tuneup. Mike has 15 years of international freelance experience recording music, doing voice overs, audio engineering, and consulting for audio and optics electronics. His business contacts include Boeing, United Airlines, BE Aerospace, and various government agencies. Not something you would expect from a guy who wears Hawaiian shirts and talks with hand puppets.
